I heard if you do this on an RC5 greenposion, the n64 or gameboy emulator will work, is this true?

I jailbroke it with one friend of mine and it worked out but after a bit it just froze completely before I could even install the cydia from the loader app, and I turned it off but now it wont turn on really, It turns on, switches to the poison apple then stays there, nothing has fixed it, I found from my other friend that he needed to download the poison program again for a different ipod each time, which he didnt, but can it be fixed? or is my ipod scrwed?
